BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA

PS 122 has long been an interesting venue for theater.

Now, the Carol Tambor Theatrical Foundation and Peformance Space 122 present the U.S. premiere of the Edinburgh Fringe's Top Award Winner, BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA, created by the British upstart theatre company 1927, as part of both UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL 2008 and P.S. 122’s COIL FESTIVAL

BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA is a wickedly entertaining, cabaret-like evening of comic vignettes, seamlessly combining acting, live music, performance and storytelling with film and animation that takes you by the hand on a musically charted, visually enchanted journey…through wild woods and shipwrecked seas, from the weird underbelly of the suburbs to the tweedy world of the old rich. Along the way, you’ll encounter marauding gingerbread men and cross-dressing devils, not to mention the sinister twins and their misfortunate guests…

STRICTLY LIMITED ENGAGEMENT: January 9th - 27th ONLY

Schedule: See Peformance Space 122 for details
